Let's Talk .... English
Gina Coppens teaches English to speakers of other languages at Let's Talk Language School. She earned her teaching certification at the University of Seattle. ENGLISH IMMERSION PROGRAM Let's Talk Language School ran its five day English Immersion program from April 23 - April 28, 2011. This year, 17 students from the Beauce region in Québec attended the 5 day English immersion program. In addition to 12 hours of classroom instruction, they spent a couple of evenings at a Waterville tavern watching the locals), attended several local events and talked with students from Let's Talk at the annual year-end French party. Volunteers accompany the students on all of the field trips and activities. This provides lots of opportunities to speak English with local people. |
