Evening Classes for Adults
What Level Should I Take?
The trick is to fit into a class where you are
comfortable. Some people prefer to be towards the
top of their class while others want to stretch more.
If you are uncertain which level you should be in,
please call the school.
Level I - Beginner. Not much need to describe this
level . . . just an open mind.

Level II - Advanced Beginner. For people who have
language in the past and can remember that far
back. Much of the instruction is in the language.

Level III - Early Intermediate. For people who have
taken Level II and done some work on their own.
Also for people who have taken classes during high
school, college or elsewhere, used the language
somewhere and feel comfortable putting together
sentences and understanding instruction in the
language. Students should stay in Level III until they
are able to converse.

Level IV - Advanced Intermediate. This is as high
as we go. No English spoken at all. The Spanish and
French Level IV classes focus on short stories,
current events and culture.
